Which sizes are in the Winelovers series?
The series consists of wine bowls of 38, 46 and 58 cl and a champagne flute of 19 cl. The smallest bowl is meant for white wine, the largest for full-bodied red. All models are supplied in sixes.
Which Winelovers glass do you choose if you take just one?
The 46 cl bowl. That size is roomy enough for lighter red wine and at the same time small enough to keep white wine cool, because you naturally pour less into it. For most tables that is the most usable choice.
Is Spiegelau Winelovers dishwasher safe?
Yes, on a glassware programme. Make sure the stems stand clear of each other and do not lean against cutlery or plates. Afterwards let the glasses air upright and dry them with a lint-free cloth to prevent water marks.
How full do you pour a wine glass?
To about a third of the bowl, or up to the widest point. The space above is where the aroma gathers, and you need it to be able to swirl without wine going over the rim.
