Which glass do you use for rosé?
A bowl of roughly 20 to 33 cl that narrows slightly towards the top. That is wider than a classic white wine glass, so the red fruit comes through, but smaller than a red wine bowl, so the wine does not warm up too quickly.
At what temperature do you serve rosé?
Between roughly eight and ten degrees. Colder makes the wine closed and flat, warmer makes it taste flabby. Keep the bottle in a cooler while you drink, because rosé warms up faster in a generous bowl than white wine does.
How full do you pour a rosé wine glass?
To the widest point of the bowl, which comes to about a third. That leaves room above the wine for the aroma, lets you swirl without spilling, and keeps the rest of the bottle cool rather than lukewarm in the glass.
Is toughened glass or crystal better for rosé?
That depends on use. Toughened glass is more impact-resistant and holds up longer in a busy venue or on a terrace. Crystal glass is thinner and clearer and drinks more pleasantly, but calls for more careful washing and storing.
