Malibu Strawberry
Malibu in pink. Barbados coconut rum with the flavour of sweet, fresh strawberries, at 21%. Straight over ice or in a mixed drink: think of a strawberry daiquiri without the fuss, or simply with lemonade and plenty of ice.

Malibu, but with strawberries
Malibu Strawberry is one of the newer flavours in the Malibu family: the same coconut rum as the original, with strawberry added. The base is white Caribbean rum made from sugar cane with coconut, complemented by natural flavourings that give it the taste of sweet, fresh strawberries. Like the original, it comes from Barbados, where Malibu has been made since 1982.
At 21% alcohol, it is just as strong as regular Malibu Coconut. The coconut remains recognisable, but strawberry takes centre stage. It is easy to drink, straight over ice or in a mixed drink. Whereas classic Malibu mainly calls for pineapple juice, Strawberry works better with lemonade, sparkling water, lime and mint: anything that keeps the strawberry fresh.
In brief
Sweet, red and summery
Fresh strawberry
Immediate strawberry, sweet and ripe, like a bowl of strawberries in the sun.
Sweet and smooth
Sweet strawberry on Malibu's smooth coconut rum. You can barely taste the 21%, especially with ice.
Short and fruity
A short, sweet finish in which the strawberry lingers briefly. Calls for something fresh and sour alongside it.
Flavour profile of Malibu Strawberry straight over ice. With lime or sparkling water, it is fresher and less sweet.
Three ways to drink Malibu Strawberry
Strawberry is sweet enough to drink straight over ice, but add something sour or sparkling and it becomes a true summer drink.
With lemonade
50 ml Malibu Strawberry with 150 ml lemonade or bitter lemon in a highball glass full of ice, with half a strawberry on the rim. Sweet, sour and sparkling.
Highball glasses →Quick Strawberry Daiquiri

40 ml chilled from the refrigerator over plenty of ice in a tumbler, with a wedge of lime. The ice and lime temper the sweetness.

Anywhere a recipe calls for strawberry and white rum, Strawberry makes it easier. Keep the sweetness in check with lime.

Strawberry Daiquiri
Rum, strawberries and lime, blended with ice. Even fruitier with Malibu Strawberry.
Strawberry Mojito
Mint, lime, sparkling water and rum, with a few muddled strawberries. Malibu Strawberry replaces the rum.
