Absolut Vanilia
The creamy vanilla vodka from Åhus. Smooth, sweetish and still dry enough to mix: the quickest route to a rounded Espresso Martini or a smooth Pornstar Martini.

Absolut, but with vanilla
Absolut Vanilia is regular Absolut Vodka with natural vanilla flavours added. The base is the same: Swedish winter wheat and water from its own spring in Åhus, continuously distilled into a clean, smooth vodka. The vanilla gives it a creamy aroma, with notes of toffee and caramel, while the vodka itself does not become syrupy or liqueur-sweet.
That puts Vanilia right between a neutral vodka and a liqueur. You no longer need to add vanilla syrup to an Espresso Martini or Pornstar Martini, and with cola or ginger ale you can quickly make a long drink with depth. At 38% alcohol, it is slightly lighter than regular Absolut, which is 40%.
In brief
Creamy, sweetish and yet bright
Vanilla bean
Warm, rich vanilla that stands out immediately, with hints of toffee underneath and a soft grain note from the vodka.
Caramel and cream
Soft and rounded on the palate. The sweetness is subtle, more like caramel than sugar, and the alcohol stays in the background.
Soft and short
A short, warm finish in which the vanilla lingers briefly. Clean enough to pair with coffee or fruit.
Tasting profile of Absolut Vanilia neat and ice-cold. In a cocktail, its creaminess is particularly noticeable.
Three ways to drink Absolut Vanilia
Vanilia is a blended vodka. It is at its best with coffee, tropical fruit, or simply with cola and plenty of ice.
Vanilia Espresso Martini
40 ml Absolut Vanilia, 30 ml fresh espresso and 20 ml coffee liqueur, shaken hard with ice and strained into a chilled coupe. The vanilla makes it creamier than the original.
To the recipe →Vanilia & cola
50 ml Absolut Vanilia with 150 ml cola in a long drink glass filled with ice, with a lime wedge. It tastes like vanilla cola, but for adults.
Long drink glasses →Straight over ice
A few centilitres from the freezer over a large ice cube in a tumbler. The cold tempers the alcohol and brings out the vanilla and caramel beautifully.
Tumblers →Cocktails with Absolut Vanilia
Anywhere a recipe calls for vodka and vanilla syrup, Vanilia replaces both.

Espresso Martini
Vodka, espresso and coffee liqueur. With Vanilia, it develops a smooth, creamy foam.
Pornstar Martini
Vanilla vodka, passion fruit and lime, with a shot of bubbles on the side.
White Russian
Vodka, coffee liqueur and cream over ice. With Vanilia, it tastes like an iced coffee with dessert.
Mudslide
Vodka, coffee liqueur and Irish cream. A cocktail that doubles as dessert.More Absolut flavors
