Absolut Citron
The lemon vodka from Åhus and the vodka from the original Cosmopolitan recipe. Fresh, lively and well-balanced: with soda, in a Lemon Drop or simply in a pink Cosmo.

The lemon vodka behind the Cosmopolitan
Absolut Citron is Absolut Vodka with the flavor of lemon and a hint of lime. The brand describes it as a lively, fresh vodka that is uncomplicated and well-balanced. Unlike most Absolut flavors, which are 38% ABV, Citron has the same 40% as the original. As a result, it behaves like a full-fledged vodka in a cocktail, just with a citrus edge.
Citron owes its fame to the Cosmopolitan, one of the most famous modern cocktails: the original recipe was made with this lemon vodka. Like all Absolut products, it comes from Åhus in southern Sweden, where all the ingredients come from the region and the distillery operates carbon-neutral. The brand sums it up as 'one source, one community'.

Crisp and well-balanced. The citrus is clearly present, but the vodka remains dry and not sweet.
Clean and warm
At 40%, it is slightly warmer than the other flavors, with a fresh citrus note that lingers.
Flavor profile of Absolut Citron neat and ice-cold. With soda or in a cocktail, its freshness really comes through.
